Our Impact Values The aspiration of Vista Global Coaching & Consulting is to use business as a force for good in the world. We do this by honoring these values: Connection – To create the world we all want to live in requires the collaboration and commitment of many communities of people. B Corp Vista Global became a Certified B Corp in Wisconsin in 2012 and remains the longest certified B Corp in the state. Since then, Vista Global has been dedicated to using business as a force for positive change in the world by partnering with over 200 nonprofits, socially-minded businesses, and individuals with the same commitment. What is a Certified B Corp? Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. This third-party certification legally requires businesses to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. Why is Vista Global a Certified B Corp? As an entrepreneur, you are your business. Therefore, your business reflects your personal values. When Vista Global Coaching & Consulting was founded in 2010, Founder, Mary Stelletello, spent a lot of time thinking about the ethos of her business; the business DNA, what services Vista Global would offer, the types of clients Vista Global would work with. How Vista Global interacted with clients would reflect Mary’s personal values. Mary was familiar with B Lab when she founded Vista Global. She reviewed the core tenets of the impact assessment and wanted to demonstrate alignment through certification. Best For The World Honoree For 10 years, B Lab conducted an annual program called ‘Best for the World’ where they recognized businesses that had completed the evaluation and documented their positive impact on workers, environment, and the community. The businesses that scored in the top 5% of more than 5,000 Certified B Corporations from 85 countries were on the “Best for the World” list. This program was discontinued in 2022. Vista Global is honored to have been named “Best for the World” in the Customer Category for the five years prior to the discontinuation of the program.
