Minutes with Mary: Episode 26 - The Three Instincts of Enneagram Types
In today’s episode of the Enneagram mini-series, Jayson and I explore another component of the Enneagram framework. Just when you thought you were getting a handle on the different types..there’s more! This layer of the subtlety of the Enneagram emerges from the combination of three basic instincts within each core Enneagram type. These basic instincts combine with each of the 9 types leading to a total of 27 subtypes, three for each primary type. When the passion and the dominant instinctual drive come together, they create an even more specific focus of attention, reflecting an insatiable need that drives behavior. Dr. Claudio Naranjo, considered one of the pioneers of bringing the Enneagram subtypes into modern psychology, integrated this knowledge to create a comprehensive framework for understanding human behavior.

Minutes with Mary: Episode 24 - The Enneagram & Leadership Development
In today’s episode of the Enneagram mini-series, Jayson and I will share how the Enneagram can support you in moving toward the version of your best self through accessing the attributes of the Enneagram styles of your wings and lines. Our belief systems about leadership, influence what we pay attention to and what we ignore. We tend to develop skills and strengths in areas we deem important while qualities of other leadership perspectives are less developed. By integrating one or more additional leadership paradigms into your dominant perspective, you will begin to notice more possibilities for expanding your behaviors, skills and mindsets.

Minutes with Mary: Episode 23 - The Enneagram & Teams
In today’s episode of the Enneagram mini-series, Jayson and I will expand on the topic of the nine Enneagram leadership types to include team styles. Teams are how we get work done, how we accomplish goals, how we rely on each other’s gifts and create impact. When we don’t have a clear understanding of the individual team member's motivations, fears, communication styles and gifts, our teams aren’t operating at full potential. We will explore the stages of team development and how the Enneagram can create a road map for team success.
